About History Talks
History Talks is a unique series of lectures developed by Bev Schuetz and designed for discerning adults. Topics include biographies of fascinating figures like Eleanor Roosevelt, Richard Nixon and Harry Truman as well as the histories of Comedy in America, why we do what we do when we say I do (wedding customs) and the world's oldest profession. Other lectures on the Irish and German immigration to St. Louis, Hoover and the FBI, and tales of medical quackery are part of the available list of fascinating and diverse presentations.
