Fun IYM Event in Independence
Check out the pictures from my "Naked Truth: The History of Underwear" presentation in Independence, MO. The delightful ladies of IYM (Independence Young Matron's) hosted a luncheon on September 25, 2012 with more than 75 attending.
It was evident from the start that this was a "fun" event. The Speaker's Podium was decorated with an over-sized pair of red flannel boxer shorts replete with a smiley face. The centerpiece on each table consisted of a unique grouping of antique lingerie and boudoir items. Dona Larsen, program director, delighted the audience with her humorous introduction of my program on undergarments. The fall event proved to be a special gathering for everyone including me.
